Certificate of Proficiency in Pacific Nutrition
This course is for those working with and for Pacific communities in a training, advisory and/or support role.
It is designed with a Pacific perspective on nutrition and health in mind. The course also covers lifestyle diseases and every life stage from birth to older adults.
All sessions will be delivered online through AUT’s learning platform in three parts, throughout 9 x 3-hour evening sessions. Sessions will be delivered on Wednesday evenings, once a week, from 5:30pm – 8:30pm across nine weeks.
To be eligible for this course, the participant needs to:
- Complete the online Heart Foundation registration.
- Complete the online AUT enrolment.
- Supply proof of eligibility to study in New Zealand.
- Pay course fees of $100* per person (*heavily subsidised).
- Attend all face-to-face classes.
- Actively take part in learning activities, discussions and group work.
- Complete all online readings, activities and assessments.
